The MRI showed a bulging disc…
This time I really did think I was well and truly screwed. The MRI showed a bulging disc in the L4-L5 region of my spine. The pain was immobilising and I could not sit down, only lie down or stand briefly.
As a 73 year old bloke, my doctors had told me "this is to be expected at your age, take these pills (useless) and here is a referral to a neurosurgeon."
I had tried massage, doctors, chiropractors, physiotherapists, horse linament and Scenar Electronic pulse therapy, all to no avail.
I saw Sandra Lamari in January 2019 and commenced her individually tailored series of exercises. I knew immediately that Sandra was a person with very special knowledge and skills. I also knew that it was only by following her exercises, or asanas as she calls them, that there was any chance of an escape from the descent into hell that I was experiencing.
Two months have gone by and I have arrested the descent into hell. Without Sandra's continuous help, insight and amazing work ethic, I think my future prospects would have been horrendous. She has been amazingly generous with her time and attention to detail, even contacting me after appointments to make sure we are doing it right.
Sandra's gift to me has given me a new lease of life. I believe that by continuing her practice, the rest of my life may be a fortunate one.

Mt Kilimanjaro
I would highly recommend Sandra.
She is very professional and very passionate about yoga.
I went to her before I did Mt Kilimanjaro and she gave me stretches before the hike and they helped a great deal.
I did the stretches on the mountain and I believe they played a huge part in me summiting the mountain.
Sandra has also given me stretches and strengthening exercise which has helped me strengthen my core and she also broke down the exercises and was very patient and made sure I understood the exercise before she showed me the next exercise.

Tailored movements
Sandra is knowledgeable and was able to tailor movements to my injuries. The fact that I was able to complete the whole class made me feel so strong and stretched.
The assessment and practice she designed for me to do at home is really helpful for relieving my leg and back pain at night. I highly recommend her.
